This presentation will detail the procedures for building the foundation for the Neuromuscular Complete Dentures, Immediate Dentures and Implant assisted Dentures. The latest analog procedures from meeting your patient to impressioning, taking records, esthetic review and fabrication with the choice of Conventional versus Digital Processing. This process yields the optimal placement of dental implants by doing dual scanning of the prosthesis in the implant planning stage. Many unique tips will be discussed to stay out of trouble and predict the outcome before beginning treatment.
Samir F. Zakaria, D.D.S., MSD
Dr. Zakaria is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology, certified in Periodontics and Dental Implants. He received his Certificate of Periodontics and Master of Dental Science degree from Indiana University, School of Dentistry and his Doctor of Dental Surgery from University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry. He has been teaching at University of Detroit-Mercy School of Dentistry since 1997 and Indiana University School of Dentistry from 1992-1996.
Dr. Zakaria has been practicing in Livonia, Michigan for the last 20 years. He lectures and provides continuing education training courses in Periodontics and Dental Implants for hygienists, dentists and specialists. He has lectured extensively locally, nationally, and internationally for the last 24 years. Dr. Zakaria has invented, developed and performed the Minimally Invasive Flapless Connective Tissue Graft for the last 10 years with a great rate of success and wonderful results.
