MDA reschedules MDA Annual Session from April to September 2020

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, the MDA Annual Session scheduled for April 29-May 2 has been postponed to Sept. 2-4, 2020 at DeVos Place in Grand Rapids. The MDA Board made the decision to postpone the Annual Session at a special virtual meeting that took place March 24.

Please note: If you have registered for Annual Session, there is no need to take action now. Details on the postponement are still being worked out. More information will be posted on the MDA website as it becomes available. Everyone currently registered will be emailed instructions on how to transfer registrations or cancel for a full refund. The MDA appreciates your patience while staff works through the process.

The 2020 MDA House of Delegates, which was scheduled to take place during Annual Session, will also be postponed. According to MDA Speaker of the House Dr. Todd Christy, the House will be held via Zoom teleconferencing and will take place Saturday and Sunday, May 16-17. The weekend dates were chosen in order to allow delegates’ offices to remain open during the week. Questions contact the MDA at
