Speaker Biography

Dr. Muhammad H. Saleh is a Diplomate of the American Board of Periodontology and lectures nationally and internationally on periodontology and implant dentistry.
After completing his Dento-alveolar Surgery residency, he worked in private practice for eight years before earning an implant diploma from DGZI in Germany. He followed that with post-doctoral training at the Periodontics Department at the University of Michigan, and then a Periodontics residency at the University of Louisville, KY, USA.
He is currently a full-time faculty member in the Department of Periodontics at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, USA.
Dr. Saleh has been actively involved in research, publishing more than 120 peer-reviewed articles in periodontics and implant-related fields. He serves as a reviewer for top Q1 periodontics and dental implant journals.
He is a winner of multiple national and international awards, most recently the 2021 AAPF Schoor Award for the best research project for the year 2021, the best clinical research in the Ramfjord 2022 Symposium, the 2022 AAP Institute for Teaching and Leadership award, the 2024 AAPF LEAD award, the 2024 AAPF the Nevins Teaching and Clinical Research, and the 2025 Roy H. Roberts Award for Excellence in Teaching and Innovation.
Dr. Saleh is a renowned industry research and product development consultant. His clinical and research interests primarily focus on alveolar ridge augmentation.
