The MDA is pleased to announce that Governor Whitmer signed Senate Bill 105 into law. This new law fixes the problem where some insurance companies use virtual credit cards to pay dentists, but then the dentist is charged a fee to access the payment.
This new law states that an insurance company shall provide one or more methods of payments or reimbursements that provide the dentist with 100 percent of the amount payable and do not require the dentist to incur a fee to access the payment or reimbursement. |
