This workgroup is a temporary committee to work on improving the content of the oral health high school presentations for project with Detroit Public Community School District.

The goal of this work group is to improve the content of the high school students presentation for delivery by dental volunteers in the 2026-27 school year.
Comments - from pilot
The students can handle more complex information and content.
Have "scarier", grosser, and more detailed images of bad teeth.
Flossing demonstration does note need to repeat the facts in the slide.
The video can remain but do we change the voice over - or make a new video?
More information on the adult personal management of their own oral health and overall that these students will soon be responsible for in the next few years.
More scientific and complex on link to overall health.
More on vaping and dangers of smoking.
Meeting format
Zoom meeting. There will be some pre-meeting background information so we can facilitate a conversation on the content.
