Title: Introduction to Injection Molding: An Overview of Concepts, Techniques, and Applications

Injection molding is a process that has been used in manufacturing in industry and, more recently, in dentistry. Injection molding takes a plastic or resin, heats that material to a liquid or near liquid state, and injects it into a prefabricated mold under pressure.

At the completion of this program, clinicians will:

• Understand how injection molding may fit into your clinical practice with step-by-step techniques
• Gain a working understanding of various techniques and when to consider their use
• Learn the proper armamentarium for various injection molding techniques
• Learn protocols for finishing and polishing to yield the most esthetic results
