Detroit Dental Society Zoo Day
All are invited to a Detroit District Dental Society Zoo Day on July 19, 2025. This program includes admission to the zoo, a family picnic under a pavilion with kid craft station, private seating, and special DDDS science station for the kids. If you have a family membership, please call the DDDS Office at 313.337.4900. All others may register here.

Tickets will be distributed the day of the event at a group private tent with a Detroit District Sign outside the front gate of the Detroit Zoo. The tent will open at 8:30am. The Detroit Zoo opens at 9:00am.
Early registration special. Register by July 6, 2025 and bonsus zoo prize will be distributed.

Volunteers needed: Community Outreach Tent to promote Good Oral Health to the public.
The Detroit District Dental Society has added new this year a community outreach tent that will be engaging the public in learning more about "Good Oral Health". This was made possible with the PR Grant from the Michigan Dental Association (MDA). The tent will be at the Zoo entrance and participants will interact with the public in promoting oral health at various stations. We need volunteers from 8:30am to 12noon. We are running two-hour shifts. Volunteer in the morning and enjoy the Detroit Dental Society Picnic and the zoo in the afternoon.
Volunteers will sign up for their volunteer time slot below.
Pricing for volunteers. MDA Members $25.00 and Dental Students FREE REGISTRATION FOR VOLUNTEERING
Pricing includes admission to the zoo, Detroit Dental Society Picnic, and super appreciation of all the good work for promoting good oral health to the public.

Each volunteer will sign up for one or more shifts. They have the option of also attending the picnic lunch for the Detroit District Zoo Day. A confirmation of the signing up for your volunteer time slot will direct you to the registration to pay for Detroit Zoo Admission and the picnic.
